WELCOME TO THE TWOS ROOM

Dear Mommy and Daddy,

I am a Big Kid now!!!! I have just moved to the next class and I have a new cubby and mailbox. My new teachers will be glad to show you where they are located. My lunch now goes in the refrigerator in the kitchen. Please label and put only the food that needs to be chilled in the refrigerator and leave the rest in my lunch box on the lunch box shelf. The refrigerator gets too full if everyone puts in their lunchbox. My new teachers are encouraging me to do things all by myself – eat, clean up, paint, use the potty, and wash hands. Being a big kid is hard work and I might get a little dirty during the day but don’t get angry; it means I am learning and having lots of fun. I am also interested in using the potty so please work with my teachers and send in the needed supplies for potty training (pull-ups,underwear, wipes and lots of extra clothes). Be sure to talk with my teachers about potty training – I can’t wait to get rid of my diapers!! Please make sure I have extra clothes in my cubby and a blanket for nap. Remember to label all my belongings with my name so they don’t get lost. I don’t have a daily chart anymore so be sure to check my mailbox for my daily report on what I did today. Just remember Mom and Dad; as I grow up, my tuition goes down- yeah!!!!
